Damon Self-Ligating Brackets: Self Ligating Brackets have a sliding door that allows the wire to slide freely back and forth. The traditional type of brackets use elastic ties to keep the archwire tied to the brackets which can result in a more noticeable force on the teeth. Finally Finished: There are several types of retainers available for maintaining your beautiful new smile. Our office uses the traditional plastic and wire type retainers as well as the new “clear” type that snap over the teeth and even a bonded or permanent type retainer. Which type of retainer you may have will be decided by the Doctor and based on what is best suited for your finished result.
Digital x-rays: The new digital x-ray unit is state-of-the-art. Our radiograph images are immediately downloaded onto the computer screen for instant viewing by the Patient and Doctor. This new unit also cuts down radiation exposure by 75%.
