Ann

Hi my name is Ann. I am the Office Manager and Treatment Coordinator for our Hagerstown office. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Drs. Toothman and Barra since the summer of 1984. I started as a clinic assistant before becoming an Office Manager/Treatment Coordinator. I am certified in radiology and am a Certified Orthodontic Assistant. I am the proud mother of five daughters and the extra proud Nana of Miles, Gavin, Reid, Tyce, Jeremy, Eve, and Sophia. I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my grandbabies. If you have any questions or concerns please call our office, I will be happy to speak with you. I look forward to meeting you at our Hagerstown office.

Shirley

My name is Shirley. I am the Business Manager/Accountant for Drs. Toothman and Barra. I have been working for the practice for many years, actually beginning on April Fools Day in 1985. I take care of the in-house accounting, payroll, taxes, accounts payable, 401k, group insurance, credit cards, and financial statements along with the Doctor's personal accounts. I have two wonderful sons, and in 2009 was blessed with a wonderful addition of a daughter-in-law who is currently in med school, and both my son and daughter-in-law reside in Memphis, Tenn. My other son graduated from the college of Charlestown, and is working in China.

Aleta

Hi, my name is Aleta and I have been with Drs. Toothman and Barra since May of 1989. I am one of the first faces you see when you walk in the office. I am the Insurance Coordinator and am happy to answer questions and submit your orthodontic claims. I enjoy performing many other front desk duties and interacting with our patients. I have three children and four beautiful grandchildren. I love anything to do with nature, especially hummingbirds. I am also an avid movie watcher. I am always happy to greet you at your next visit.

Susie

Hi, I'm Susie. I have been with Drs. Toothman and Barra since 1986. I work in the front office and of all my responsibilities I like working with the patients the best. When it comes time to schedule your next appointment, I will do my best to find a date and time that suits you best. I am now a proud grandmother as my first grandchild was born 12/29/09. I will be waiting to greet you at your next visit.

Lori

Hi, my name is Lori and I have been with Drs. Toothman and Barra since June of 2008 as a front desk receptionist. I enjoy working with people and look forward to meeting our patients each day. Outside of the office I enjoy spending time with my husband and very active children. I look forward to meeting all of you!

Lisa

Hi, I'm Lisa and I work as a Clinical Coordinator and part time Treatment Coordinator. Recently I have been launching our Marketing program, and you will find us on Facebook, and soon to be in the Hagerstown Magazine. I am a Certified Orthodontic Assistant and also hold my radiology license. I have worked for Drs. Toothman and Barra since February of 1988. I enjoy the daily interaction with both our patients and their parents. My favorite part of my job is helping you understand how braces move teeth and putting all your fears, or your child's fears to rest. Building a person's self-esteem and self image through orthodontics is our main goal. Out of the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three great kids! I am looking forward to watching your smile go from crooked to grand!

Tiffany

Hello! I am Tiffany and I joined the team of Drs. Toothman and Barra in May of 2001. I am a Certified Orthodontic Assistant and also hold my radiology license. I thoroughly enjoy working with children and adults of all ages. Outside of the office I am a very busy mom of three boys. I spend the majority of my time at their sporting events. I can be located in chair #5 at the Hagerstown office. Stop in and say hello!

Gina

Hi, I'm Gina. I have been with Drs. Toothman and Barra since November of 2005, and had previously worked in the Dental field. I am a Certified Orthodontic Assistant and also hold my radiology license. I also manage the inventory for the office. I enjoy the interaction with the patients, and the closeness of the staff. On a personal note, I am married with two children, a son and a daughter who attend Smithsburg school district. We spend most of our free time cheering them on at their sporting events. Can't wait to meet you, you can find me in Chair #4!

Rae

Hello! My name is Rhianna, but you can call me Rae. I'm an Orthodontic Assistant in the Hagerstown office and also hold a radiology license. I have been with Drs. Toothman and Barra since July of 2007. Previously I worked in the dental field as an Endodontic assistant. Stop by chair #6 when you are in the office.

Mary

Hello, I'm Mary. I've been a Chairside Assistant for Drs. Toothman and Barra's Hagerstown office since February of 2004 and hold my radiology license. I enjoy working with the patients and staff, "we are one big happy family." On a personal note, I'm the mother of one daughter, who is also a patient of Drs. Toothman and Barra. Tina

Hi, I'm Tina and Ive been with Drs. Toothman and Barra since 2003. I am a Clinic Chairside Assistant and hold my radiology license. My co-workers say I am known for my upbeat and fast-paced personality. Overall I enjoy the hands on experience and patient interaction that the Orthodontic field has to offer. Outside the office I am a very busy mother of three children. Can't wait to see ya, you can find me in chair 2!

Stephanie

Hello, my name is Stephanie. I worked for Drs. Toothman and Barra in the Lab while acquiring my Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. I have since returned in 2009, and I am now a Chairside Assistant and hold my radiology license. I love working for Drs. Toothman and Barra because of the fun and friendly environment. In my free time I love to exercise and spend time with my husband and two boys.

Cindy

My name is Cindy and I have been working in the dental field since 1974 and for Drs. Toothman and Barra since August of 1993. My past experiences include working as a receptionist, Dental Assistant, and as a crown and bridge lab technician. In the practice I am an Orthodontic Lab Technician/Supervisor and fabricate appliances for both our offices. I have a license in dental assisting, dental radiology, and have received certificates and training in lab techniques and procedures in New York, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. I am the proud mom of two wonderful sons. Stop by the Lab the next time you're in the office!

Julie

I'm Julie, I have been known as the Assistant with the curly hair but now you will find me in the Lab. I have worked for Drs. Toothman and Barra since January of 1996, first as a Certified Orthodontic Assistant, holding my radiology license, and now as a Lab tech. On a personal note, I am married with two children, a son and a daughter. Come and visit me in the Lab!

Our Chamberburg Office Staff

Christine

Christine is the Front Office Manager in our Chambersburg office. She has worked for Drs. Toothman and Barra since 1989, after a dental career in the United States Navy. Christine handles all aspects of the clerical business and also fills in as a clinical assistant and treatment coordinator if needed. She also serves as co-office manager for the office.

Cheryl

Cheryl joined our team in 2000 as a Front Desk Receptionist. She handles the busy front office tasks wonderfully. Cheryl enjoys greeting the patients and has learned a lot about the ins and outs of orthodontics.

Lori

Hi, I'm Lori and I am the treatment coordinator for the Chambersburg office. I am certified in Radiology and as an orthodontic assistant. I have been working for Drs. Toothman and Barra for many years and enjoy working with the patients and their families. I am married and a proud mother of three children. When I'm not at work, I'm busy spending time with my family. I look forward to meeting with you at your first visit to our office.

Julie

Julie has been with Drs. Toothman and Barra since 2003. Julie's bubbly personality is a great addition to the front desk staff. She is there to help patients and parents with making appointments and to answer any questions they may have.

Bev

Bev has been with Drs. Toothman and Barra since 1996 as a clinical assistant. Bev is working on receiving her orthodontic certification and enjoys working with the patients.

Roxanne

Hi, my name is Roxanne. I've been with the Chambersburg office since 1993 and have been in the dental field for almost 20 years. I do inventory for the office, I'm the OSHA coordinator, am X-ray certified and work as a clinic assistant. In all my spare time I enjoy spending time with my two children and wonderful husband.

Heather

Hi, my name is Heather. A little bit about myself. I have a happy family, a wonderful husband and a beautiful daughter. I couldn't enjoy life more. My other family is here at Drs. Toothman and Barra's office. I've been working in the clinic as an assistant since 1999. I enjoy the interaction with the parents and patients. Hope to see you soon.

Amanda

Hi, I'm Amanda Bowers. I've been with Drs. Toothman and Barra since 2001. I started my 10th grade year as a part-time lab assistant. Then once I graduated I became a chair side assistant. I enjoy the interaction with the patients and parents.

Brooke

Brooke is a clinic assistant for our Chambersburg office and has been with Drs. Toothman and Barra since 2009. Brooke completed the Dental Assisting program at Hagerstown Community College and will soon be certified in dental radiology. She enjoys the interaction with the patients and the hands-on work that the orthodontic field has to offer. Brooke is looking forward to expanding her orthodontic knowledge and experience.

James

James has been working at the office since 2001. His primary task is to build and finish the plaster models and to make the retainers. He has enjoyed being able to work with his father, brother and wife, in addition to the rest of the wonderful staff. James hopes to continue to work in the Chambersburg office for many years to come.
